2016 Vilcek Prize for Creative Promise
I am pleased and honored to receive one of three 2016 Vilcek Prizes for Creative Promise in Theatre, along with directors Sarah Benson of the Soho Rep. (FUTURITY), and Desdemona Chiang (The Winter's Tale at Oregon Shakespeare Festival). I'm also honored to be in the company of director Blanka Zizka of the Wilma Theater (Hamlet), who is receiving the 2016 Vilcek Prize in Theatre.
The Vilcek Prize recognizes immigrant contributions to the American arts and sciences.
